This is an adorable bakery with excellent pastries and drinks. I had the heirloom tomato and goat cheese pastry and it was so perfectly put together. Like the perfect amount of basil, a tiny sprig of dill, and ever so lightly salted. You can tell all of their pastries have so much thought put into them and are painstakingly assembled by hand. The result is food that's beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat. I'm used to trying bakeries or cafes and wondering whether anything is actually made in house. That's absolutely not the case here. I ordered a loaf of bread and it was still warm from the oven. The customer service was great too. The cashier accidently charged me for an extra drink and bent over backwards to fix it. They even took the coffee i actually ordered off my tab, which wasn't even necessary. This is officially my favorite bakery in Sac!

We're able to finally visit Moonbelly Bakery and it was as good as they say. We arrived past 8am and the line wasn't long. We had the cardamom bun, almond croissant, tomato and goat cheese, nectarine and cream, and they're cold brew special. There's a small dining area outside of the bakery where we ate our pastries. They're filling, hearty, and divine. We'll definitely go back to try their other baked goods.

Moonbelly is genuinely the best bakery ever. After coming here for the past few years I am confident they can do no wrong - everything they make is so insanely good. The mushroom and gruyère & the lemon custard are my particular favorite.

I absolutely love this bakery. The pastries are out of this world (makes the name so fitting) & some of the most beautiful pastries I've ever seen. Everything is delicious but I especially love the cardamom buns & tomatoes/goat cheese croissants. The owner & staff are stellar people. Locally sourced seasonal produce & very community minded. Do not be discouraged if you see a line out front. The space it's limited inside but the line moves quickly. I promise they are worth the wait.

Cute bakery with a lovely selection of freshly baked pastries, croissants, buns, breads, and more. My first time visiting, I enjoyed the Kim-Cheese pastry (savory, spicy, salty, cheese and kimchi) and sat in the outdoor patio area. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful; I will be visiting again!
